Welcome to Main Line Unitarian Church!

cong2__210x140MLUC has been a liberal religious voice on the Main Line since its beginnings in 1958, when 34 adult Unitarians, many of them parents, began services in a rented, vacant church in Berwyn. Today, membership has grown to more than 650. As a Unitarian Universalist congregation, MLUC embraces a wide diversity of ages, sexual orientations, races, abilities, and theologies. As a community of diverse religious beliefs we come together in the conviction that deeds matter more than creeds, that people have a responsibility to do what they can to make a difference, and live their values in a difficult and fast-changing world.

We invite you to attend Sunday Services and join us afterwards for coffee and conversation. Children may visit with you and attend a church school classroom or stay with you during the service. Our teaching staff is prepared to greet you and your family when you come into the classrooms. A Welcome Table, staffed by a helpful church member, is located just inside our main entrance. Please plan to stop by before or after the service to pick up information and sign up to receive church communications.

Newcomers are always welcome. We look forward to meeting you soon!
