Childcare

Our professionally-staffed childcare program has several goals. The first and most important is to provide a safe, warm, inviting, and supportive atmosphere that both parents and children will enjoy. Our second goal is to encourage independence, creativity, and a sense of discovery and exploration. Each child will be encouraged to grow and find new ways to have fun and feel secure in new relationships.

MLUC provides care for infants and toddlers through 3 years of age during regular Sunday services. There is also care for children age 5 (kindergarten) and younger during designated Family Services, Summer Services, and during some special church events. The infant and the toddler rooms are on the lowest level of the church building.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Times

Children may be brought to the childcare rooms fifteen minutes before a service is scheduled to begin. Please plan to pick up your children no later than fifteen minutes after the conclusion of a service. This is the same time that Church School ends and it gives our childcare providers time for some fellowship, too.
