Or about what to say when discussion at the office holiday party turns to religion? This very practical class is for you. Dave is a retired UU minister and a member of MLUC. He has led a number of adult education classes for MLUC and for other UU congregations in the past. Email to sign up.
7:00-8:30 p.m., the last four Tuesdays of October, Led by Rev. Neal Jones
This course invites us to examine more intentionally the raw experience of our lives to distill the life lessons we have learned. By sharing our experiences together, these lessons become more discernible, we learn from each other, and we draw closer as we get to know each other more personally. This course will discuss:
Oct. 10: Who are three people who have had the greatest impact on your life?
Oct. 17: What have been three of the most important decisions you have made in your life?
Oct. 24: What have been two of the saddest and two of the happiest experiences of your life?
Oct. 31: If your life story were a novel, what would be the title and the main plot?
These are undoubtedly serious questions, but if we answer them together, we will also find that they are fun. Participants will share only what they feel comfortable sharing, and we will keep our conversations confidential. Please email to participate.
