What is Small Group Ministry?
Small Group Ministry is designed to encourage spiritual growth and to help develop relationships of substance and depth.
These groups enrich our community with the sort of personal sharing that happens rarely in our busy lives. SGM provides a way to meet members ’ needs for worship, community, and service, and to grow spiritually and in understanding.
SGM is open to anyone who wishes to participate. Groups of 6 to10 people gather twice each month, either in homes or at the church. Trained facilitators who meet regularly guide the groups.
The format includes an opening reading, check-in and sharing, and discussion on a subject related to personal and spiritual development. After a time for feedback, the group closes with a final reading. Sessions are about two hours long.
