Healthcare Is a Moral Issue: Film and
Sunday, October 4, 12:30–2:30 p.m.
Led by Rev. Neal Jones in the McGinness Room
“The Healthcare Movie” is one-hour documentary that provides the real story of how the healthcare systems in Canada and the U.S. evolved to be so completely different, when at one point they were the same. This movie reveals the personal impact on Canadians, who have universal health coverage, and on Americans, who don’t. Following the film, there will be a panel discussion with Rev. Jones, and church members Dr. Fred Kauffman, and Dr. Jenette Wheeler. A light lunch will be provided.
