Capture the spirit of giving and attend a multigenerational, fun-filled afternoon at the Holiday Workshop on Sunday, December 11, 2:00-5:00 p.m. As always, the workshop is a great way to make quality inexpensive gifts for the holiday season for teachers, friends, and family. Many of our favorite craft tables will return this year, and we are bringing back the flea market! Enjoy live music, food, and local vendors. This event is open to the community, so grab your family and friends and get into the holiday spirit.
In addition, attendees will get a chance to decorate the tree at our first ever MLUC Community Tree Decorating! Bring an ornament, make an ornament at the workshop, or buy an ornament at the flea market to join the fun.
*We are still accepting some donations and looking for elves. Visit us in the Atrium on Sunday, December 4 to find out more. Or contact Rebecca Polss.
Donations are being accepted in the following areas:
- Greens Table - needs baskets and holiday ribbons/decorations. On the morning of December 11, we will accept fresh greens on the back patio. Please let Leslie Wright-Riley or Toni Black know if you plan to deliver greens.
- Flea Market - needs holiday ornaments and decorations to sell during the workshop. Donations will be accepted in marked boxes starting after Thanksgiving. So if you are downsizing, changing your holiday style, or simply ready to part with unused holiday décor, start a box to donate. Contact Ingrid Deckman.
All donations will be received in the Atrium (space permitting) and/or the 2nd floor landing. Look for boxes labeled "GREENS" or "FLEA MARKET."
