“The Healthcare Movie” is one-hour documentary that provides the real story of how the healthcare systems in Canada and the U.S. evolved to be so completely different, when at one point they were the same. This movie reveals the personal impact on Canadians, who have universal health coverage, and on Americans, who don’t. Following the film, there will be a panel discussion with Rev. Jones, and church members Dr. Fred Kauffman, and Dr. Jenette Wheeler. A light lunch will be provided.
Meditation Study Group

Our meditation study group chooses a book and meets weekly for chapter-by-chapter discussion and meditation. Past books include True Refuge, by Tara Brach, Wise Heart, by Jack Kornfield, and Loving Kindness, by Sharon Salzberg. This group, which is limited to 10 participants, opens to new members when we begin a new book each fall and spring. Please join us.
Reproductive Justice Roundtable Discussion

Join us to informally discuss Reproductive Justice, 'and the current state of affairs in PA and the US, bringing our UU philosophy to the conversation. This will be a relaxed atmosphere where members of the community can exchange ideas in a supportive environment and learn from each other. A light lunch will be served.

In this class we’ll consider together life’s persistent questions – and probably some questions that haven’t occurred to you before.
